 råkstudion Language Learning Resource Centre at Stockholm University and 
 Sprachenzentrum at University of Salzburg organise on each Thursday the Ro
 mance Language Cafe - an event bringing together students who speak any Ro
 mance language for a plurilingual exchange: you speak Italian\, your conve
 rsation partner speaks French\, someone else speaks Romanian – and you c
 an still understand each other.How is that possible? Thanks to their commo
 n origin\, Romance languages have similar vocabulary (e.g. es. universidad
 \, pt. universidad\, fr. université\, it. università\, ro. universitate)
  and comparable grammar structures\, i.e. a high degree of mutual intellig
 ibility – even if you’ve never studied the other language.Improve your
  language skills and discover new Romance languages The Romance Language C
 afe helps you practice expressing yourself clearly and accessibly\, even f
 or people who don’t speak your exact language. You’ll develop cross-la
 nguage communication strategies\, such as: slowing down your speech repeat
