Reclaiming (Feminist) Justice: 50 Years of the International Tribunal on Crimes Against Women (1976–2026)
About the Event
In 2026, we will mark the 50th anniversary of the International Tribunal on Crimes Against Women (1976).
To celebrate this milestone, a series of events (study days, public discussions, and collective exchanges) will be organized across several European countries, bringing together scholars, activists, researchers, organizations, and members of the public.
What’s on the program?
🗣️ roundtable discussions bringing together scholars and grassroots actors,
🤝 participatory workshops with students and activists,
📚 bookstore events,
🎬 screenings of activist and documentary films,
🎶 collective singing and artistic performances,
💭 and above all, spaces to ask essential questions: how can justice be imagined and practiced beyond its “traditional” legal frameworks? And why are feminist, ecological, activist — and more broadly civic — forms of engagement vital to the health of our democracies and societies?
